The internet data backup service is our primary focus at iDataBackup. We provide ancillary services that support and enhance data backup services for our clients.

iDataBackup

• A highly configurable software interface that enables you to define the data files and directories that you want to back up, set backup schedules, and configure status notification messages as well as numerous other detailed settings available to customize backup sessions to your specific requirements.
• Military-grade file encryption that is applied to your files prior to transmission via the internet to a Backup Server. So you not only get the benefits of remote file storage but also secure transfer and storage of your data.
• Files are compressed prior to transmission and stored in compressed format. This reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. You pay only for the amount of compressed file storage that you use.
• In addition to compression, the remote backup software uses a sophisticated "difference" engine that identifies the incremental changes to files. The changes are then compressed and sent to the Backup Server. This process can often reduce file sizes by 99%!
• Data recovery is available using the backup software interface whenever you need to. Depending on the size of your backup window (e.g., one month), you can recover different versions of files made within that timeframe.
• In a disaster recovery situation where your server is unavailable, iDataBackup can burn your encrypted data to CDs for you to use to recover data.
• iDataBackup can work with you to create custom backup solutions to meet your specialized needs.
